The Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) enjoys bipartisan support. At least eight Republican Congress members recently voiced support for retaining tax credits created by the IRA, and last week, 133 mayors and local elected officials from 39 states plus DC sent a letter to members of Congress calling on them to preserve all clean energy tax credits available to state and local governments through direct pay.
